This session will briefly introduce some of the many IT facilities available to you.

In this session, you will be using some of the features of Word to format documents easily and consistently and import figures and tables from other sources.

Completed before the winter break in semester one.  In this tutorial, you will be introduced to some tools and features of Microsoft Publisher to aid you in the development of your Patient Leaflet assignment.

Images play a very important part in your document but come in all different sizes and formats.  This session provides support in creating and managing a wide range of images within your document.

Several drop-In sessions will be held during term-time to support your preparation of assignments. Please consult your timetable for dates, times, and locations.

In this session, you will be manipulating data to produce tables and graphs, and you will analyse data using basic statistical formulae. Data will be provided and you should follow the instructions in this tutorial and complete the tasks to explore different aspects of Excel.

Stage 2

In this session, you will revise tools covered in Document Management 01 and Information Skills Assimilation last year, and see how these tools can be used for managing your Patient Study coursework.

This tutorial will give you the skills necessary to develop and deliver an effective PPT Presentation.
